______________________________________________________________________

Since her launch July 18, 2007 at Multiplast yard, Brit Air has reached Port-la-Forêt harbour (South Brittany) where he get her 180° righting test. Thus, mast has been dropped before 90° and 10° new righting tests. Sea trials will come after.

Armel Le Cléac'h : "... Everything is OK. Brit Air is eligible under Imoca rules. Now, we are discovering the boat. First good new, she is easy to stear. We have tested all sails combinations...".
Without doubt, with her wing mast and outriggers, Brit Air is a nice boat. Certainly also because a suitable decoration. And it is use to tell nice boats are quick boats...

Gilles Ollier, Ceo of Multiplast : "... after having made all the strengthen tests (chain plates, tacking points, traveller, etc.) at the catway in order to re-check our work, we have started the sea trials. In fact, before the final delivery, we still remain responsible of the boat. Somebody of the shipyard is always onboard during a full month after the launch. We are reaching the end of the sail tests. All is working properly...".
