Although racing multihulls are inextricably linked with Mulitplast’s history, racing monohulls are not exactly a poor cousin to the yard. Composite construction techniques have become every bit as sophisticated as on racing multihulls. Just as much care is taken in their construction.
MULTIPLAST builds racing monohulls :

• "IN SHORE"
  • Among the « inshore »  racing monohulls, the "Class America" have pride of place. Five monohulls have been built for different French challengers.
• "OFF SHORE"
  • Among the « offshore » racing monohulls, there are IMOCA monohulls for the Vendée Globe, with three new prototypes at the start and an IMOCA championship title at the finish.

In 2001, MULTIPLAST was classified by an international expert as being among the top five composite shipyards in the world.
