MULTIPLAST uses the following means of inspection and laboratories:
Apart from the infrastructures and means of production, the workshops and sheds-scale drape moulding tables in order to produce large-scale sandwich sheets and panels.
MULTIPLAST is mindful of environmental protection matters and manages its waste ecologically, compacting for collection.
- Production surface are of 4 500 m² on a site covering 18 500 m²
- Three halls 1 500 m², fully air-conditioned, with controlled temperature and hygrometry (21° ± 3°, HR 50 to 60 % maximum)
- Three doors 28 metres wide to handle very large sized composite components
- Access to the water, facilitating sea transport.
MULTIPLAST offers the following means of production:
- Three ventilated ovens:
- One oven 50 m x 6 m
- One oven 20 m x 5 m
- One oven 8 m x 7 m
- One production line adapted to small series,
- Cold storage rooms with a volume of 300 m3 to stock prepregs and adhesive film,
- Stockroom with code bar stock management,
- Internal and external machining tools for the machining of masters, moulds and finished parts,
- Generator to cover any power cuts during curing of composite components.
MULTIPLAST uses the following means of inspection and laboratories:
- Non destructive ultrasonic testing of composites (external operator certified by Cofrend and Cosac),
- Laser tracker measuring carried out by external companies,
- Test specimens carried out in-house,
- Mechanical and physics-chemical testing carried out at the CETIM in Nantes.
