"Biscuits La Trinitaine" launched on July 20th 1998

The all carbon Nigel Irens designed, Multiplast built 60 ft trimaran "Biscuits La Trinitaine" was successfully launched on Monday 20th July last on a sunny afternoon before a large crowd of well-wishers. The trimaran will be skippered by Frenchman Marc Guillemot and the highlight of the season will be the Route du Rhum single-handed transatlantic race between Saint Malo (F) and Point-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) this coming November.
The boat's first outing in anger will be the Multihull Grand Prix in La-Trinité-Sur-Mer on 27th to 29th August.
The 60 ft boat incorporates all the latest design thinking and is as wide as she is long, making her one of the most powerful boats in the fleet.
