MULTIPLAST CHOSEN TO BUILD FRENCH AMERICA's CUP CHALLENGER
Multiplast Composite Yachts has recently been entrusted with the task of building an IACC (International America's Cup Class) boat for the French syndicate "Yaka France", entered in the next America's Cup in Auckland in the year 2000.
Multiplast already has considerable experience in building IACC boats, having built "F1" the very first boat to the new rules, in 1990, followed by "Ville de Paris" in 1991.High Tech composite boat specialists, Multiplast will start construction at the end of this year according to the most sophisticated techniques authorised by the rules. Each piece will be vacuum bagged and oven cured at 100°C in our 25 metre long ovens.
In the world of custom composite boat construction, Multiplast confirms its place in the very closed circle of top boat builders.
