MULTIPLAST COMPOSITE YACHTS, designers and builders of the the world’s finest advanced composite multihulls, will be back at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this year, and will be exhibiting in the Yacht Builders and Designers Tent at the Bahia Mar site, booth # 674.

MULTIPLAST and its in-house design office Gilles OLLIER & Associés, Naval Architects, specialize in the design and construction of exceptional custom multihulls from 60 ft upwards, both sail and power, racing and cruising. On the competitions side, Multiplast has a track record second to none, the latest success being Bruno PEYRON’s record crossing of the North Pacific between Yokohama and San Francisco with the 90 ft Ollier/Multiplast catamaran « Explorer ».

Multihulls are fast gaining in popularity as performance cruising boats for their unequalled space, pace, stability and fuel efficiency. Catamarans are now well established in the up to 50 ft market and and no charter fleet can afford to be without them. Now attention is turning towards the bigger boat sector over 60 ft, such as the 82 ft « Magic Cat », on crewed charter in the Caribbean.
