Multiplast is also excellence in advanced composite techniques, the yard being equipped with state of the art modular ovens and vacuum bagging equipment.Multiplast has been chosen to build the French Yaka ! Syndicate's challenger for the America's Cup to take place in Auckland 2000.

Another Multiplast speciality is high modulus carbon fibre wingmasts. During the last few months, the yard has built 4 masts for 60 ft Open class racing trimarans.
