This trimaran has been considerably optimized since then, allowing it to build an impressive track record, from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and across the Atlantic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6071111 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6071111\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Jason Carroll has decided to take a step further by launching <strong>a new Ultim-sized trimaran<\/strong> (32 meters long by 23 meters wide) that will allow him to aim higher.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbd942a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bbd942a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>&#8220;We had a great campaign with the MOD 70, but we reached the limits of what that boat could achieve in terms of records. We are very interested in the North Atlantic record, the Route of Discovery, all the big top-tier records that were just not achievable in the MOD 70. To meet those goals, <strong>we needed a bigger boat<\/strong>, and here we are&#8221;,\u00a0<\/em>explains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/chad-corning-4464a59\/\">Chad Corning<\/a>, managing director of Argo Racing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9cddba3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9cddba3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This boat will therefore be a maxi-trimaran <strong>designed by VPLP Desig<\/strong>n, which has extensive experience in the field, having notably designed the recent Ultims <em>Banque Populaire XI<\/em> and <em>SVR Lazartigue<\/em>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae6d60d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae6d60d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>&#8220;We worked with VPLP on optimizing the MOD 70, so we had a strong working relationship with them&#8221; continues <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/chad-corning-4464a59\/\">Chad Corning<\/a>.&#8221;<\/em> They also designed Jason Carroll\u2019s cruising boat, a Gunboat 80, so we already had all that experience with them under our belts.
