The 82-foot catamaran designed by the Gilles Ollier Design Team has returned to the Multiplast shipyard for a full tune-up, after three years of charter sailing in the Caribbean.
Magic Cat, the 82-foot cruising catamaran imagined and built by Multiplast, has returned to the yard for a refit. This ultrafast luxury sailboat, designed by the Gilles Ollier Design Team, already has accumulated 3 years of intensive-charter experience in the Caribbean, with more than 50 000 miles under her keels. In line with the follow-up and maintenance programme recommended by the yard, all wearing parts and elements vital for the safety of passengers, such as rigging pins or standing and running rigging, are currently being changed. The maxi catamaran will receive a new suit of sails made by Incidences (France), as well as a repaint – before returning to her home port in Martinique for three further years of charter sailing.
